Musician Phinees Robert known as “Phinestro” 27 Years Old, lives in Brooklyn, NYC. He acquired the name of “Phinestro” by his older brother. One artist to another joking one time was helping Phiness produce a track. Sending his brother a work draft he asked who played the instruments. Phinees answered “I played all including the drums.” From then on he called his brother Phinees the Maestro. You are the Phinestro Man. So, it really stuck to Phinees.. Phinestro.. ah..
What you do you do for a living?
For a Living, I partime at a marketing Agency in NYC.On the side, I do Music production publishing, scoring film to Video/ Photo production and editing and on Sundays’ I play for guitar at Brooklyn Tabernacle.
What’s your favorite piece of work that you have created?
My favorite piece of work I have created would be very difficult to choose. But it would have to be the song “Losing Control” which i produced for an recording artist name Germany name Mura. I found interest in her cause how soulful and tone her voice fits perfect to the kind of production im doing. What makes this project special is that i get to work with Film director Luis Servera, from Three/21 films. He is very innovative when it comes to piecing ideas together through concepts , and Jose Altidor, who is a phenomenal Song writer and vocal producer and Martez, who is another co writer of the project dynamically. I am Also was fortunate to work with Audio Engineer Paul Womack who mixed the track in its entire and Roman Vail, mastering engineer from Dumbo Brooklyn song. ” Losing Control” which set to release in Late April. I am looking forward to this release!
What inspired you to create your favorite work piece?
What inspired me really was the whole European EDM progressive house movement. Looking into Skrillex, Deadma5, even to the melody i create on my iphone in the train ride back home.
What are your goals for the next 5 years?
For the work in next 5 years, After finishing school, Id’ like to already have a Grammy nomination with a world wide production collective with already placements on TV and FIlm with a production deal. IT is also my goal to have my own operating studio and a Label to sign artist i want to work with.
What (other) hobbies do you have?
I’ve really taken interest on making custom cardigan / letterman varsity tops and Jackets. As of recent new hobby I like to collect vinyls to train myself in becoming a DJ.
Do you have any favorite blogs, books you read?
Phillip Bloom is very insightful. He actual gives tips on latest gear for Videographers who can’t afford expensive gear so he does DIY kind of videos for that kind of Videographers like me who wants most top quality without breaking bank.

It comes from multiple outlets. Most of the time, when I post my work on Soundcloud, I get people interested for projects or lease tracks. Usually best way is Paypal linked to site. Yes, I admire Skrillex. For some reason as being the best Dubstep producer but I love how he know how to make everything sound so exaggerated in sounds. For the simple fact being that he does most all his albums in his laptop it inspires me to really create outside the box. Don’t Compare yourself from others.

Foods: I love to cook so anything Asian, Pad Tai, veggies mixed with Cashews Brown Rice, something grilled in the family of either chicken or some salmon would stew my mind most of the time.
Music Note: I like A major 7 for some reason.

Animal: I am a Cat person. I love dogs, but Cat seems to be a Jazz to dogs Dubstep. I love animals! However, I would have to say, A Cat… for now.
